Grief is a personal journey that shows up differently for everyone. I do not believe there is any one way to experience grief, and like many things, it is not linear. Grief can be messy, complicated, and impossible to understand. It also shows up for different reasons, it can be for the loss of a loved one, an identity, or a relationship, grief can show up in so many different ways.
My goal as a therapist is to help you:
✔️ Create a safe space where we can explore and unpack these emotions at your own pace.
✔️ Explore your grief with curiosity and compassion
✔️ Work together to find what healing looks like for you, and figure out how to navigate that journey.
Our lives are like bookshelves, and grief is one of the books on that shelf. It’ll always be there, a part of your story. But as time passes and we work through the healing, we’ll start adding more books. New chapters, new experiences, new ways of finding meaning. Grief doesn’t disappear, but with time, it’s no longer the only book on the shelf. You get to fill it with your journey, your growth, and the richness that comes from learning how to live alongside it.
